A Procession of Forgotten Midwives, Herb Women and Contraceptive Plants

On June 24th a Procession of Journeywomen, Scolds, Midwives and Contraceptive Plants traversed the park of Middelheim Museum from the Braem Pavilion to het huis, accompanying Radio Hush Hush to its summer installation.

With thanks to everyone involved: the 60 participants, interns and volunteers, curator Pieter Boons, dramaturg Tundé Adefioye, theatermaker Stine Sampers, banner-bearers and plant carriers, Scolds and Journeywomen. Not to mention the embroiderers and seamstresses who collaborated on the banners.
